Philippine-based bitcoin wallet Coins.ph just launched Teller, a service that will make it easy for coins.ph account holder to add funds into your account.

Teller is service within the Coins.ph app, that allows users to find the nearest teller in their area, then add funds to their coins.ph account for a fee. The user can then use their coins.ph account to transfer money, buy load, pay bills and shop online, even they do not have a bank account or credit card.

In an article on e27, Coins.ph CEO Ron Hose said “It costs too much to put up branches everywhere, resulting in over two billion adults who are still unbanked. Teller elegantly solves this problem by building a human branch network that allows financial institutions to reach a demographic they are not currently able to reach with their existing branch infrastructure.

Teller will initially be available to existing money exchange shops and small retail establishments, who were screened and background-checked by Coins.ph, to ensure these teller are trustworthy and secured.

You can download the coins.ph app at the Google Play Store, the iOS version of the app is currently in development.
